The Vietnam era A-1H was a bad boy in it's on right.........the "Sandy" could drop to tree top level, and put one in their pocket.

Talk about close ground support......the "Sandy" wrote the book on it.

wow .. now I'm missing doing the squadron loads ..... last time they all gathered around to watch this new transport that was so heavy on take off it looked like it was barley moving ... just hanging there about to drop ... but it finally took off
