I found it...........now, where do i find your "Thoughts For The Day" in here
Ya know what SU, I'm fed up with a bunch of jerks that abuse the freedoms good men gave their lives to ensure. Ya look all around ya and all ya see are far left liberal loons spouting off bullshit........and the get mad if we voice our ideas......
"F" them. I fought, and shed my own blood, sweat, and tears for the freedom of speach...........the assholes that don't like it can go to ........"Kalifornia".
And because you did ... i feel it my responsibility to make your sacrifice worthwhile .... My army days did not turn out like I wanted them to .. but I took an oat to defend this country ... I intend to keep it ....
wait a minute now Blue .... serving is anywhere anyplace anytime .... yes ... LC service earns him a special place of honer .... but the rest of us ... we have a duty here and now to make his service worthwhile .... i fight those commies bastards every day .... just in a different way

Damn straight. Everybody that put's in a hard days work, pays their taxes, enforces the laws on the street, or hauls the freight that keeps this country going are paying the price for freedom.
Both of you "serve this nation" every day of your lives. I'm proud as hell to call both of you my friend.
I agree. But I remember during the first gulf war. I came soooo close to signing up and joining. It's just I listen to guys like LC, Krash, and guys that I work with that went and served their country. I feel like I missed out on the honor of doing what I should have/would have/ could have done. I missed the boat. Even if I had joined the Coast Guard, and never saw combat, or ended up working the rear, at least I would have contributed something. And it's not just that. As I approach fifty (in a couple years), I've been really grinding on my bigger mistakes in life. And this was one of the bigger. One of the reasons I like doing law enforcement so much is it allows me to do the something here and now. And maybe somewhere down the road, I'll make a difference, even if it's miniscule.
I joined the army to straighten out as a kid ... found more trouble in with all the guys dealing with the tail end of Nam .... so I understand feeling like I did not get to do my part ...
but i have lost so much money fighting to for drivers to run legal over the years ... i feel like my place was out here on the road ,,, fighting this war ....
