Interresting design, what's the .cal and most inportantly is it accurate??
It's a Ruger Charger .22cal. They use the same action as the Ruger 10/22 rifle so after market parts for the rifle will fit it. I added a recoil buffer pin and a target hammer, which reduced the trigger pull down to under 3 lbs. I'm still trying different brands of ammo, to see which one it likes the best. Right now, it will put 3 shots in a dime sized group, at 25yds. The stock, folding bipod, and the soft case that it's setting on, are all standard.
But that won't stop me from taking it to the woods after some tree rats. I'll just leave the bipod at home. IO, I didn't to do much hunting this season. I might get a chance to go, during our Spring squirrel season.
$300........but it can get real expensive if you start laying on all the after-market goodies. Barrels are around $200 and the same for a complete drop-in target trigger group.
SU started to get his pistol out the other day and do some target practice with it but there were some kids in the woods so he decided not to at that time.
we went for some target practice when he first got several of them and I tried but did not do so well ... lol. closed my eyes and squeeze ... lol ...
no I am just not got with loud noise ... well ... all I do is line up my shot with the sites and set up for the shot ... then close my eyes and squeeze ... lol.
