LONDON - A British teenage actor playing a minor role in the upcoming "Harry Potter" film was stabbed to death during a brawl in London on Saturday, police said.
People were arrested the next day from what I remember. It is hard to keep up, there are so many youngsters getting stabbed in the UK, in London lately, it is scary. I hate my kids going out now.
Then again, it is adults as well that are getting stabbed, so I guess nobody is really safe.
No guns allowed if I understand it right .... I don't think the police even carry ..
Spot on almost.
People are allowed guns providing they have a licence, but they have to be secured out of view of the public when being transported, and locked up when indoors and only used at gun clubs.
The are specialist members of the police force that carry guns, but the regular police don't carry them, and a lot don't want to.
Our police should be more like your police I believe, if they were all to carry guns and pull them at ther slightest hint of trouble, then I am sure members of the public would be more wary of starting trouble in the first place.
but ... one think that keeps ringing in my head when you talk about guns and killing ... even stabbing ...
the guns/knives don't kill people ... people kill people ... and no matter how regulated it is ...
if someone wants to kill someone ... they will find a weapon ... even if it is a screwdriver ...
but ... anyway ... it is just sad ...
True...some of the most infamous serial killers used their bare hands to kill.....by nature, humans are cruel. We are animals..just smarter. It does not matter if weapons are taken away from us...to make this better. If that happens, only the criminals and police officers will have guns......
OK....not a good topic of dicussion.....will get too heated....
It is all very sad.
