Got this from another forum .... Could what he is saying come true ..... Maybe so ...

As I write this article and look at my calendar, I see that Lake Lanier has just over 65 days of water left to provide life sustaining water for one of America's major cities, Atlanta. This is a highly dangerous situation and if the water stops flowing in Atlanta all h**l will break loose. I have spoken with several Government Employees who must remain anonymous and they all tell me the same thing which boils down to this. "Bush doesn't give a d**n, neither does the congress and the Federal Government is looking the other way and have thrown their hands up on this deal. It even has a code name and plans are being made for Martial Law to be imposed on much of Northern Georgia when the "s--- hits the fan". There is a law that was authored by Newt Gingrich back in the late 80's that was passed by the congress and it gave the President the power to cancell most of the freedoms of the constitution, seize any and all forms of transportation, deny citizens the protections of being arrested on trumped up charges and many other very scarey things that would make you pee your pants if you only knew. The President has the power to declare a national emergency and literally have dictatorial powers for up to 5 years. The law was written in anticipation of riots that could break out over the country, a devastating earthquake that would divide the country or other worst possible scenario and almost 6 million people being without water in Atlanta would cause riots, fires, anarchy and the government would be powerless to stop it. The Army at Fort Benning is already in training on how to control the masses when the faucets stop giving water and what they are planning is not going to be pleasant for anyone. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I AM SAYING....THIS IS NOT GEORGE NOORY, AND IT IS NOT CONSPIRACY CRAP THAT SOMEONE HAS DREAMED UP. We are dealing with a true to life catastrophe in the coming days, unless God sends a tropical storm or the politicians quit bickering over insignificant fish and mussels in the rivers downstream of Atlanta and they close off the dams and allow the reservoirs to refill, but even then, the water is flowing so slowly it may take months to refill the reservoirs. Some say, "well I'll just buy up all the bottled water I can get" but that won't last you but a few weeks at the most. People will be robbing anyone they can in order to get water because you can live only a few days without water and hydration and if your thinking about buying sodas, you forgot that the main ingredient in Coke, Pepsi and other sodas is WATER. Our government is failing us. The people in Atlanta are just sitting on their thumbs and deciding on who they're going to vote for in 2008, but if GW declares a declaration of emergency, there will be no elections and we'll be stuck with him for 5 more years. This, my fellow Americans is how a Democratic form of government turns into a dictatorship. You've all heard about the problem but has anyone come forth and said, "I have a solution?" h**l NO.....There is no solution. The city fathers have not prepared for this, the government has pis--- away the farm and the American people are in for a rude awakening. The only thing that I can see saving us from this catastrophe in the making is God Almighty himself. If you don't believe in God and that he can solve this problem, you are to be pitied, for it must be h**l to not have anyone or anything to rely on in a time of need. Finally, I will close by saying that, I sure as heck don't count on our corrupt government to solve this problem. They're just going to keep on bellyaching across the partisan problems that have divided this country, but that's what they want and they got it and we suffer the consequences. _________________ Dale "Bozo" Sommers
Several problems I see here. One, capitalism does have a habit of fixing supply and demand problems all by itself. And since most morons in this country ACTUALLY PAY OVER A $1 A BOTTLE FOR WATER IN EVERY STORE ANYWAY,,, well, I guess they like the concept! So dont expect the government to jump either.
Second, you cant really base the future of what is going to happen with any (one) thing when it comes to something based on weather. Normally, the same scientist that bitch doom and gloom about how we are all going to die due to weather changes, are normally the ones that bitch that we are all going to die if the weather doesnt change. Its just a matter of which side of the fence mans fault lies on that day! Fact is, we are a changing planet. (O, and it would do it even if we werent here), and it is impossible to COMPLETELY predict what water is going to be where.
Third, the entire problem of living somewhere and EXEPCTING everything to run around YOU is simply, retarded. An example would be Arizona. Now, theres a brainstorm. Lets build one of the fastest growing cities in the middle of the fucking desert and supply it from an underground water reservoir that has built up over hundreds of years. Last thing I saw on it stated that the actual city elevation is dropping because they are pulling so much water out and plan on running out within the decade. So, my question is, whos fault is that ones? The governments? Geeeezz. If a fucking moron cant understand the concept of a desert, (for god sakes), and the responsibly that comes with being in one (BEFORE THEY GET THERE), then, well, let them die of thirst!!! Survival of the fittest!
I think if we just send the people home that don't belong here .... it would stretch out the water supply till the rains come back ..... But I'm thinking FEMA might jump in around election time to save the day
