I'm here - the last few days have been kind of busy, I worked at the Special Olympics Plane Pull yesterday and then had the walk for Matty this morning. I expect to be sound asleep by 8 tonight, haha.

Oh wow, the plane pull sounds like so much fun. I don't know if you know, but Code3 is really into the SO. He's encouraging me to get more involved too, and I may just do that.

I didn't know that. I really enjoy it, I usually work as many of the events throughout the year as possible. This year I couldn't do the summer games because they were the same weekend as my cousin's graduation, and I couldn't do the Polar Bear Plunge because I was in Hawaii.

It'a amazing and humbling to watch the athletes during competition.

You should get in touch with Corporal Norm ( a LEO ) and have the truckers come in and do a convoy .... Some of the convoys raised up-wards of fifty thousand dollars a few weeks ago for special Olympics ...

I was really into SO about 5 years ago, but gave it up. Have you ever been involved in Tip-a-Cop? It's where police officers staff a restaurant for the night and all their tips go to the SO. Our restaurant kept in touch by phone with others that were participating, so we got a great spirit of competition going. I had an absolute blast.

They usually do have a truck convoy here, too.
