My only way of messaging her would be through a forum, which is not going to reach her unless she logs in. There must be some reason why she is not joining in anymore. Anybody, know matter how busy can find a few minutes in their day to have a quick look and post on forums. I'll have to try to dig out her email addy.

Sea Monkeys are shrimp krill. Some genius back in the day decided to advertise in comic books and market the product to kids who would save their allowance and send away for these things. They are still popular...but you dont have to send away for them, anymore. Kids are spoiled these days and impatient. I remember the thrill of waiting for things I ordered from comic books. now, kids just go to Toys R Us or Target to get whatever we had to wait weeks for.......I digress.
My daughter has some that we have not "activated" yet...they are still freeze dried in the packet. The kit came with a bowl that looks like an aquarium. All I got when I was a kid was a brown envelope and a packet of sea monkeys. Now they have food and a fancy bowl. ......and all this fancy stuff.

Wow. I wonder how they can stay alive when they're freeze-dried.
