I am in and aout here, at top and o.com mostly out. I have returned to school and have only 35 hours before graduation. lots of on line courses and I am working with my mom to get home helath care 2 tiomes weekly.
I've been meaning to get back here. I've been dealing with health issues with my mom. She is getting better but it has been slow. She is 81. The Doctor has cleared her for visits to get her hair done, going to church, going on short walks, etc. Don't want to her to over do it.
I've been visiting and posting on different forums that I belong to. Not so much lately. Trying to keep up but there are only so many hours in a day.
I went to a couple of cemeteries to pay my respects to loved ones who have passed and served for this country in times of war and in times of peace. The Memorial Day Ceremonies were great.
I am here, but not for long...busy day preparing for my daughters recital and then a trip to visit my mom and figure out what to do to help her. CTR ..you are sweet.

I am here...but have to go clean my daughters room before I freak out and throw all her toys away....
That brings back memories, my daughter would never keep her room tidy as a little kid, my wife was always doing it for her.
So, one day I got home from work and went to see what her room was like, it was in a right mess, so I just started grabbing stuff and throwing it down the stairs (making sure there was nothing really breakable there).
Once it was all at the bottom of the stairs I told her to go down and pick it all up and put it where it belonged, Not long after her room was looking good.
Didn't last long though, and to this day I have given up.
I guess some people have the need to be tidy in them, whereas others don't.

I empathize with you moldy.
Thanks. I set up her train table today...it was a mess. I had taken the train set apart months ago, in a mad attempt to teach her a lesson. All it did was free up extra space for her to throw more toys upon. It was a cluttered mess.
I, patiently, set it up and she was very grateful and excited. It looks so nice. She asked me, "Mommy...do monsters hate a clean room?" Avoiding temptation to play the "monsters hate a clean room , so keep it clean. " I simply stated that if there were monsters they would probably hate a clean room because there would be no place to hide." We laughed and she said, "But there are no monsters ...right?" "Right"
She is out playing golf with hubby..hopefully she will come home tired and sleep well. I need a good nights sleep....I am a bit loopy.....not sleeping well.
I am heading out to give some stuff away tomorrow, so I am making progress......I hope!

Busy, busy, busy.......too busy to really enjoy the warm weather.....sucks ass! But....my yard fianally looks normal and the flower beds are cleaned out. Most of the fence is fixed and the horse has been grazing......now onto replacing a few windows, rebuilding the openings for said windows, fixing the drywall from leaking windows......BLAH!!!!!
