Gone wrong?? I could tell you but I'd MUCH rather forget!!!! You're right about having someone there, BUT I will stand my ground and remail single!
Marriage is about a lot of things .... Trust .... Friendship .... Being there .... Most of all I think it's about allowing your spouse to be human and knowing that they are being honest with you about it .... Well it's worked for the last twenty three years anyway ....
Would I remarry ..... Nope ..... I could never get this lucky a second time ......
I don't know. Hubby and I have talked about it and he says he probably would...mostly to have a female role model in our daughters life...to which I reply, "Whatever." I simply dont know if I would want to take the time to get to know someone as intimately (I dont mean just sex) as I know my husband. Why do that all over again when I have already experienced that kind of love with him. When I told him that, he asked me about our daughter needing a father figure in her life in the event of his death. I say she would survive without one and that she has many uncles and adult male cousins who can give her the kind of advice he would.
I might....who knows ...I don't know if I am ready to be that vulnerable to anyone else in my life.....
Now, if he left me for another woman, well, then that contract would be null and void and I would date, but probably never remarry. Why bother.
