I like underwires for the way they look, but is there EVER an underwire bra where the wire doesn't start popping through the material after about 5 wearings? I get used to having a permanent pink mark where the end of the underwire is located. It seems like that's something the designers should be able to solve.
Okay, the way I see it, there are different bras for different occasions. Regardless of the occasion, though, you don't want to be flopping around or having underwires poking you or shoulder straps digging into your skin. You also don't want to have your nipples poking out in the workplace (well, I don't). One bra style is not going to meet all of your needs, and the single most important thing is to have a bra that fits well, and that means that you might need a different size for each style of bra. I have perhaps three different sizes of bras, because some manufacturers run slightly smaller and some slightly larger. You can't buy cheap bras, your silhouette and comfort depend on it. If you really want to get a good, comfortable fit you should go to a lingerie or bra shop and be measured and fitted.
One good basic everyday bra that I like is this one, by Bali. It runs anywhere from $22 - $30, which I think its pretty reasonable. It's comfortable and it doesn't show nipples. It's not the prettiest bra, but it's perfect when no one is going to see it but me.
Oh, that looks very nice. The foam isn't very thick, is it? And the underwires don't poke you?
As for nipples, are you sure they don't show? Even in very cold air conditioning?
And you settle down, Sparky. What did I tell you earlier?
No, it's thin. The last thing I'd need would be a padded bra, haha! It's thin but yet solid enough to prevent the nipples from showing even in very cold weather. And I've never had issues with the underwire, it's a very comfortable bra.
I like the look of that....comfy. I had to break down and buy my first underwire bra. Since my weight gain, seems most of it went to my chest. I hate it, it hurts. I only paid 15$ for it, so i guss that would be why.

Damn....... IF I ever gained weight I wish IT would goto my chest. IT doesn't go anywhere when I do gain weight.
I've been slender all through high school into adulthood. I am not saying that is a bad thing but I'd like a little in my breast section.

Is it underwired or not? Does it cause you to flop around? Do the underwires poke you? Do the shoulder straps dig in to your shoulders? Is it the right size for the style of bra? Does it show nipples or not? Is the padding the right thickness? Is it solid enough? Is it pretty enough? Should it just do it's job?
Ok, I feel for you girls, there is so much to take into account, and all us guys have to worry about is..........

Get rid of that one and get another one - your bra shouldn't be your enemy!
