I still recall so well riding up 84 in September, hitting rain, snow, sleet and cold! That was when I decided that I was cutting south before heading back east. I swear I rode a full day without being able to feel my hands or feet...

I can believe that. In these mountains that can hit ya any time of the year. It'll be 80 degrees, and sunny one minute, and ya go over a hill, or around a curve, and the bottom will drop out of the temp, and you hit rain, and snow.

Like the old mountain man said in the movie "Jerimiah Johnson"......."Ya Can't Fool The Mountains Pilgram, The Mountains Got Their Own Ways". .........that is so true; these mountains make thier own weather.
