My son; Sean; who died was born in December. My wife decided while she was out buying food she would try to by Seans new born baby boy some things for Christmas...............she called me, and couldn't even talk. All she could do was sob, and try to catch her breath. I didn't even know where to go get her. I finally got her calmed down..........for now.
We have a son dead; he will never get to hold his new born baby;, and new grandson that will never know his father. Seans wife will at some point re-marry, and some strange will raise Seans son........this one tough Christmas.
Heavenly Father, Hold them close, they have been trying to find a way to deal with the lose of their son. I know you will give them what they need. Let them know that your love will see them through, because I know they beieve in you, Father. Espically this Christmas time ... with the joy of the birth of the grandson. Help them to find the Joy.
Comfort ye, Comfort ye Mother and Father of Sean. Heavenly Father, I ask that you to Comfort them. Speak comfortably to Sean's Parents. Dry their tears, and heal their hearts. Send your strength and power with vengeance. Strengthen ye their hand and confirm their feeble knees. Help them to be strong for their Grand-son. Father, with your recompence, go to them and save them for their sorrow.
Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hands, and his arm shall rule for him: behold his reward is with him and his work before him. He shall feed his flock like a Sheppard; he shall gather the lams with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
Farther above, thank you for leading us and guiding us in this time we are blinded by tears. Let Sean's Mother's cries be lifted up and heard. Blessed Father of mercies, and God of all comfort; please Comfort us in all our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort them which are in trouble, by the comfort wherewith ourselves are comforted of God. No one else can comfort like you Jesus, No one else can heal our broken hearts like you Father. My hope is of you is steadfast, knowing, that you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. Nevertheless Father, that comforted those that are cast down, comfort us now.
Let us remember that the one born this month ... Jesus, your son, is the prince of peace ...
For your word Father, in Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that morn; for they shall be comforted. Comfort Sean's Parents in they way that only you, Father, can ... Turn their sorry into Joy. Delivery them from their anquish this Day, this Hour, This Minute. I pary ... In Jesus' Precious Name I pray ... Amen and Amen.
LC ... My heart goes out to you two ... know that you are in our prayers ... SU and I care ... and though there are times that we just don't know what to say or do to comfort you ... especially at this time ...
but I would not have you be ignorat, brethern, concering them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them with are asleep. For the Lord himself shall decend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to me the Lord into the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17
