Tonight I made one of my favorites.....Tatercakes.

When I was a boy......132 years ago..............Mrs. Allen made the very best tatercakes known to mankind, so tonight I thought I'd make up a batch.

I haven't made tatercakes in about......ooooooh, 'bout 40 years. Well I whooped up a batch. They are good.....nowhere near what Mrs. Allen used to make, but good.

Now any of you who have ever made tatercakes know it can be messy...........and in my case, the way I cook................well.

I have two "commercial bio-hazard cleanup companies" coming tomorrow to give an estimate on cleaning up the mess in the kitchen.

But boy did I ever enjoy those tatercakes.
