SU, if ya see any Elephant's, Rhino's, Grizzy Bears, or Semi's that need shootin' let me know. I just bought a Reminton 700 in ".375H&H caliber"............"Them thangs ud kilt a mountain."......they hit with @ "4500 pounds of pressure per square inch".
Yep, I'd say anything big like a moose, an elk, out to about two hundred yards with no problem......not sure about a "big bear". The .375 wouldn't have the "flat range" of a .300..........but they can easily push a 300+ grain bullet way younder, way fast.
One thing is for sure, if I run up on a Grizzly in the bushes......I'll be gone while he slip's, and slide's in what I just dropped......."s**t".....I'm outta here!!!
Actually that's what those gun's are great for "Big Dangerous Game".
