Got a nice little pocket camcorder from WalMart.com. They had a combo deal, AGFAPHOTO DV-5000HD with a SanDisk 4GB SDHC card, for $100. The camera shots video up to 1280x720 px and 5MP stills and 3x digital zoom. The 4GB card will hold 1hr & 25 mins. of video or 1837 5MB pics. Not much as camcorders go, now-a-days, but it's small enough to stick in your pocket and cheap enough to toss in the truck. The video equivalent of a truck gun.
I took a quick video of traffic at the shop, to see how it does the daylight. It looses a little when Photobucket converts it from .mov to .swf. The original is much clearer.
Controls are easy to learn.....a little small for big fingers. Comes with a USB cord to download to computer or you can pull out the SD card and stick it in your card reader. You need Quicktime or another media player that plays .mov files. It also comes with 2 AV cords to connect it to analog or HD TVs so you can playback video on the big screen.
