Well ...  finally I'm home ...  for the holidays ...  working on number two of my favorite drinks ...  and they are working just fine ..   god I'm getting fucked up ....


Any way ....  thinking bout next year ...  looking at canceling my contract with Landstar and getting one wit UPS Freight ....  

Terminal to terminal freight ...    paid for all miles run ,....   not just movers guide miles ...  no deadhead ...   all miles paid as long as they dispatch them ....


I might have to go to pulling pups ... never really done that ..  but I don't think I'll mind so much ....


Any way ...   hope everyone has a great holiday season ...    Get your head right ...  weather it be within whiskey or family ...  and have a great next year ...  it's time .....   screw the world ...    it's our time time to  make it good ...

20 foot trailers .... 2 or 3 at a time .... also called wiggle wagons because of the way they wiggle down the road ...

Perhaps it will be time for disciplinary action. wink Oh sorry, I can never keep my mind clean on this forum.

SU, are you saying that going with UPS will necessitate pulling pups, or do you mean you will have to do that if you DON'T go to UPS.

As it turns out .... UPS is non forced dispatch so ... no I won't have to pull them ...... They are a lot more work for no extra money ... so why bother with them ...

As for IO .... UPS will be doing the dispatching so that leaves IO free to look into having a life again ... My time away from home will drop to under 2 weeks .... so I figured it would be a good time ti get her something warm and fury .... things like that make her smile ....

And being in a cage ... I can drop them of at any number of places to be baby sited if she does want to go out for a while

Now all I have to do is try to keep up with the bills ... and ... the taxes ... that could be better ... I guess ...

At least I will not have to sit and stare at one screen and hit refresh every thirty seconds ...

... but ...

SU ... You will have to make sure that you keep track of your receipts .... really well ... this time ... lol ...

I have not decided to get a real job ... or not ...

Well .... I signed the contract with UPS today ...... Go pee in a bottle to make all the sucker mums happy tomorrow and by the end of next week .... I should be pulling my first UPS trailer .....

Does this mean you will be travelling all the way across America still, or do you just transport between a depot and a central hub or something?

I'll be running my truck pulling their trailers .... terminal to terminal ..... I won't have to deal with any customers at all ......

It's non forced dispatch so I wont have to go any where I don't want to .... no new england states or New York City .... and no North west unless I request it .... so some friends I have over there say they are running from Pennsylvania to California mainly ... which works for me cause they pay all the tolls .....

One guy I know of just runs Florida .... hasn't left it in over a year ...
