This was an accident that we ran across in our travels this week ...



I know you cannot see it ... but there is a red SUV under the truck ...

It had both sides of the interstate closed down for a while ...

Damn, that looks bad, it has managed to strew itself across both sides of the carriageway as well.

Nope .... sorry ... I never did find a news story on it ... I was out of tower range for a couple of days there ... and ... well ... now I can't even remember which state we were in at the time ... LOL

I believe it was someone driving in the guys "No Zone"

and/or just didn't know or didn't care that he was putting himself and the truck driver in a bad situation ...

But then ... it is just my opinion ...

All I know is I have seen time and time again in the time that I have been with SU over the road .... a car/4 wheeler get beside a truck just hover in the area that they would be hidden form the driver ... and no matter if the driver speeds up or slows down .... they just stay in that "No Zone" ....

After a while ... miles down the road ... the driver thinks the car has passed or turned off ... etc ... and tries to changes lanes for one reason or another ... and then realizes that there is a car there ... sometimes it is too late ...

As SU has said .... if you cannot see the driver in his mirror ... he can't see you ... don't stay in that area !!!!! and get out of that area as fast a possible !!!

And as far as I know ... it is not legal for a Bicycle to be on the Interstate ...the minimum speed is 45mph ... so "Be Real"

..... depending on the state ... bicycles are allowed on the interstate ...
