Here's the synopsis from IMDB: A God-fearing bluesman (Jackson) takes to a wild young woman (Ricci) who, as a victim of childhood sexual abuse, looks everywhere for love, never quite finding it.

I've heard mixed reviews, I think I want to see it but I'll wait until it's on cable.

I'm so glad I am not the only one that loves kids movies.

I loved it in the the other Shrek when the donkey kept saying "are we there yet?", I was in stitches, reminded me so much of me when I was a kid and we went on a long journey.

I absolutely love the Shrek movies. I like a lot of kids' movies. Did you see "Happy Feet?"

Nope, never even heard of it.

I'll tell you what I do love though, the Toy Story films, I know they are old now, but they are still so good to watch.

Oh, you should try and find Happy Feet - it's an animated film about a penguin who likes to dance.

The Toy Story movies were great. I like all of the animated Disney movies, too.

Hey Guys ...

I think that two of my favorite movies ... even though they are old ... and I have seen them a thousand times ... are:

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ... and ... The Wizard of Oz ...

I remember the first time I saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ... at the theater ... on the way home ... I stuck my head out the window and sang the song all the way home ... LOL ... pretty silly ... huh ...

I like those two as well. It's so funny you mentioned that, a friend of mine and I were talking about Chitty Chitty Bang Bang recently.

I have not seen the Shriek movies yet or Happy feet either ... those don't make it to the truck stops as often as others do ... every now and then we find one or two but not often ... and it is not that often that we get home and to a store that does sell those kind of movies ... even though we carry a large verity of movies with us in the truck ... I think one time I counted them ... we have/had at that time ... over 400 movies and TV series ... and we keep looking for new ones ...

I have never actually seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or The Wizard of Oz all the way through.

I remember as a kid my dad would say "oh, not this again, they'll be on again next year as well".

He would often say that at christmas, so I always thought I would go and play with my toys instead and watch it next christmas, but then I got in the habit of thinking 'oh well, they'll be on again soon'.

One day I will sit down and watch them.

Ok i have a couple movie suggestions....The Departed was an excellent movie, one of the best i have seen in quite a while.

The Messengers was quite entertaining, and just watched the sequel to 28 Days Later which is called 28 Weeks Later and it definitely did not disappoint.

Watched some of sShrek 3 today with my kids and it is of course as cute as the rest of them.

I am interested in checking out the movie Sunshine...anyone seen it yet?

The Departed was excellent, and I do want to see 28 Weeks Later. I love zombie movies. I haven't seen Sunshine, but I did see The Fracture last week. It was very good.

Speaking of zombie movies...watched Undead last night, been tryin to catch it for a couple years now and it lucked on Starz or something. I must say quite a weird movie. Another good funny comedy/zombie flick is Shaun of the Dead...One of my fav movies of all time. The 2 main characters are also in another flick called Hot Fuzz, pretty funny too.
