Mexican Trucks

Well .....    after thousands of phone calls  and law suits from truckers and other groups trying to keep them out ....    The government Finlay   backed up ....  just a bit ....

Now the pilot program has been renamed to the Demonstration period ....

There is now a 30 day comment period that started with no notice ..( most comment periods are 90 days with months of notice )

And they changed at least some of the rules to make it more salable ...

here's my favorite quote .....

"We are working to give American truckers an unprecedented opportunity to compete in a substantial new market," Peters said. "This announcement puts the program on track to lower costs for U.S. consumers, make our economy more competitive and give U.S. truckers new business opportunities."

There are exactly 8 American companies that have applied to go into Mexico ...   The large companies looking to cut their labor cost..   They have purchased Mexican truck companies and plan on using them to bankrupt their competition in America ...    And they have bought my congressman and ordered him to give my job to Mexico ....

Any way ...  heres a link ....  for more info and to comment if any one wants to

So sorry, dude.

Puto and Pendejo are good words to know...just be careful when you say them and to whom. The J is silent in Pendejo , by the  way.

I was just listening to a report about the insurance they would be required to have before entering the states ..... Not even close to what I have to carry

The bridge that just got took out in California ... They said tax payers would have to pick up about 90% of the replacement cost ...... if they could get the Mexican insurance company to pay at all .....
